You will begin by scheduling a 20-minute consultation call to discuss what you're looking for and see if we're a fit for each other. You can schedule with the button on my page.
If we proceed, we'll schedule your first session. I'll send you an intake questionnaire + consent form packet via email.
Lastly, in our first session, we will go over some formal information, and dive into your reason for being in therapy.
Sessions are $160 for individuals and $180 for couples.
I am currently in-network with Cigna and Optum.
I am also happy to provide a superbill for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company's member services phone number to discuss if this is an option with your policy.
All clients will automatically receive appointment reminders via text/email before the session.
Changes to appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance or will be subject to be charged at full session fee.
Currently, I see clients in person and virtually all across California. You can find my in-person locations on my Contact page.
When beginning our work together, I require all clients to work weekly for a minimum of 24 weeks. This is due to the modality of therapy in which I utilize and for us to build a rapport.
After 24 weeks we can rediscuss your therapeutic goals, which could be continuing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
You have the right to receive a "good faith estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a good faith estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider and any other provider you choose for a good faith estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your good faith estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a good faith estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
